Whether you take this song literally or take the melodic tune as an opportunity to break out your latest dance move…Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It” has become a club anthem, and an excuse for “alluding” behavior.

However, in a more infamous fashion, “Blame It” will be the title of Jamie Foxx’s upcoming concert tour.  The tour will commence Thursday, July 3rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Click here or on the picture above for tour information, and be sure to get your tickets EARLY so

You Don’t have to Blame It….

BET Awards…without MJ?!

Category: event, music

Flabbergastically and Shockingly, another year has come and gone…and we are meeting at the headquarters of The BET Awards. This year it is hosted by the one and only comedian/actor/radio personality Jamie Foxx. The program is set to roar at the Shrine Auditorium located near the USC campus in Los Angeles…this Sunday, June 28th.  From industry insider to “larger-than-life” celebrity, all will be present to join in a celebration full of performances, presentations and awards.

Most of all, this will be the perfect time for all people, in the name of Entertainment, to join in a day of remembering - the great legacy of King of Pop Michael Jackson.

We respect - We remember - We reflect - on the Man, the Talent, and  History! R.I.P. MJ!

It’s Hammertime…I Guess?!?

Category: television

It’s Hammertime on A&E. That’s right…Real Life. Drama. With a step up in what we call - entertainment - I have found a new appreciation for the show. A&E is a network that I deem as credible and serious, eliminating all types of foolwangery imaginable.  With that said - Hammer brings reality back to life.

The show follows Stanley Kirk Burrell, also known as rapper & dancer, MC Hammer. Hammer is married to his wife, Stephanie, of 24 years and together they are raising 6 children.  From the oldest child in college to the youngest who likes to shake his dreads, we are definitely in for a treat. Seeing how a family copes with life’s up and downs, continuing to restore balance and notoriety is something we can all gleam from.

Tune in to the next episode, Sunday June 28th at 10pm PT/ET.

President Obama Sets a New Tradition for Fathers

Category: event, politics

Friday, June 19th, President Obama took time out of his busy schedule to host a Young Men’s BBQ to celebrate Fatherhood and start a national conversation on the importance of fathers in the home and personal responsibility. Invited guests included celebrity dads (Dwayne Wade, Eta Thomas, Alonzo Mourning, Tony Hawk), influential fathers in ranking positions, community mentors, young men and teenagers.  The BBQ took place on the South Lawn of the White House with only the best chef along for the ride. Master Chef Bobby Flay was present to grill premier meats and oversee preparation of the food, giving the President the perfect, warm environment to speak eloquently to his guests and make a contributable difference.

Here is just a taste of what went down on Pennsylvania Avenue:

You have the right to put your actions into words…and MSNBC is providing you ample opportunity to do just that, no matter your faith.

The Story: Atheists challenge motto and want God out of inaugural oath…progressing specifically to a higher demand - for American currency to be issued without the “In God We Trust” motto.

It’s Number 10 for the Win!!

Category: event

We can all agree the team that is hungry for such a wonderful achievement deserves to be fed.

Yesterday, the LA Lakers got fed with the title of 2009 Champions!  Adorned with all the perks and celebratory traditions a team can be given for being the “Best Team in the League”…was given. From the Award ceremony on the Court and the Champagne Shower, to the tears and hugs with family, teammates AND the Coach was all highlighted in last night’s victory in Orlando.

The common element in all the commentary and the players’ words was the accomplishments of the League’s Best Coach, Phil Jackson, as he tops the NBA record for the most championships (10) as coach. With a 7 year “sabbatical” as he calls it, he was able to use his revered wisdom to restore, recover, and replenish the team in softening its hard egos.  From Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, Jackson has had his share of challenges, however, in the end this man has stayed true to the spirit of the sport and to the knowledge of team work and dedication.  That is something no one can argue with, especially the Lakers!

Congrats to Phil Jackson and the Lakeshow!!!

Halle Berrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy…Halle Berry!

Category: music, television

From Halle Berry’s stunt on stage in her “Best Kiss” stunt with Jamie Foxx to her stamp on the Halle Berry dance…she is Getting It In (dot) Com.

So the world (at least the nation) knows that Ellen DeGeneres is always on the hottest and latest trends, music and dances. With all the hype going on around our American Beauty…clearly an appearance on the show addressing the self-titled song and dance had to be done…and immediately. LOL!

Check out Halle Berry’s take on the inspired movement…and her little show-and-tell of how she moves to the song!
